If you check our gallery you will see photos of a recent extension build. The first thing we do as a builder on a project is to sort out the groundworks from clearing the vegetation to setting out the foundations and drainage.

Our builders then progress the structural shell of the build. Depending upon the design of the new house, as a builder, we can build with bricks and block work or timber frame. Timber framed houses usually go up quite quickly and give you a sense of real progress taking place quickly on the build. Our builders also use other methods of builder construction and these will be determined by the design.

Now it’s time for the roof fitting and windows and doors to make the building weather proof. We then move inside to fit the electrics and services building all the structural walls, studwork and carpentry, finishing with the plastering and final decoration.

At the same time we are weatherproofing the outside of the house rendering with plaster and roughcasting or pebbledashing or maybe fitting exterior cladding.
